Centeanes is the useful eastern base
Lagoa defines the 5.7 km route between Praia de Vale Centeanes and Praia da Marinha. A Vale Centeanes stay can simplify the western trailhead; a centre stay needs a separate plan to reach that official endpoint.
The Algar Seco boardwalk is a different walk
Carvoeiro's municipal Algar Seco path is about 600 m and forms a compact coast walk from the town side. It is not evidence that the full cliff trail begins in the centre or that an informal coast continuation is suitable.
